The Children's Foundation (TCF) is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 and incorporated in 1995 for the purpose of helping children and youth in needy or
desperate circumstances. The goal of The Children's Foundation is to provide hope, opportunity, to restore and positively change lives. To accomplish this our emphasis has been the support of three major projects: Casa Hogar Los Angelitos, an orphanage in Manzanillo, México, Ministerios de Amor, an outreach project in Southern Mexico, and The F.E.E.D. Scholarship Fund, a fund which provides scholarships for young people with financial need, and limited opportunities for traditional scholarships.
Facts about TCF Supported Projects
Casa Hogar Los Angelitos
provides full - time care for children who have come from desperate circumstances, being victims of one or more of the following: abuse, abandonment, orphaned, extreme poverty, or broken homes. All have suffered from extreme poverty and neglect. Casa Hogar Los Angelitos strives to provide the daily physical , educational, medical and emotional needs of these
children. The immediate goal is to provide the basic needs, however the long-term goal is to provide hope and educational skills which can change the lives of these children and break the vicious cycle of poverty and abuse.
The environment of Casa Hogar Los Angelitos fosters love, security, stability, consistency, and education. Since 1995 Casa Hogar Los Angelitos has impacted the lives of more than 300 children, building self-worth, self-esteem, providing the opportunity to succeed and hope for the future.
The mission of Casa Hogar Los Angelitos is to teach the children how to live successfully. We accomplish this through loving care, education and individual guidance. Casa Hogar Los Angelitos provides permanent care for children from ages 0 to adulthood, as well as temporary care for families and children in emergency situations.
